I’m so glad you’ve joined me for this podcast because my guest is someone truly compelling and I think you’re going to really enjoy hearing her story and what she has to say! Heidi Jones is the founder of Sweat To Change, a NYC based workout tribe that empowers women through workouts with the proceeds benefiting charities—she’s also a full-time private trainer with tons of experience and insight to share. An athlete from a young age, Heidi’s familiar with the mental toughness required to push oneself physically and she uses that passion to change other people’s lives.

There’s so much to unpack from my conversation with Heidi, but here are some of the highlights:

·       Empowering others to succeed is a valuable life skill worth cultivating.

·       The importance of community — not just in the gym, but in all aspects of life — is immeasurable.

·       The hype with which we’re often surrounded (about fitness, food, work, etc.), does not live up to reality, so don’t let it keep you from trying something new.

·       Getting uncomfortable will help you rewrite your life, so go ahead and challenge yourself.

·       There’s no one correct way to work out – any movement is phenomenal for your physical and mental well being.

·       Healthy living is finding things you’re passionate about, moving, and fueling your body.
