In this podcast episode I’m speaking with fellow registered dietitian and nutritionist Jerlyn Jones, who is the owner of The Lifestyle Dietitian LLC, an Atlanta-based nutrition consulting practice. Jerlyn’s work focuses on adults with digestive problems, fatigue, diabetes, disease prevention, obesity and weight management, and heart disease. As you’ll hear, Jerlyn’s own health journey uncovering and treating a Vitamin D deficiency has guided much of the efforts she makes to share healthy living habits with her clients.

  • Healthy living is knowing you have the power to change lifestyle patterns or habits that lower your risk of being seriously ill and prevent long-term illnesses. To this end, special focus should be placed on eating nutrient-rich foods, moving your body daily with exercises you enjoy, getting adequate sleep, managing stress, and not smoking.
