We’re living in a time in which many of us are struggling with our mental health, which is why I’m so excited to share today’s podcast guest with you. I’m speaking with Dr. Amy Cirbus, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the Director of Clinical Content at Talkspace. She is a wealth of information on the topic of mental health, and is sharing some great insights on the importance of acknowledging and addressing your mental and physical well-being.

Here are a few key highlights of our conversation:

  • Mental health is just as important as physical health, so make time to think about it and learn to manage it.
  • The pandemic has made many of us feel pressure to be especially productive, but productivity doesn’t always produce external evidence; you can be productive by turning into yourself and readjusting your pace.
  • Healthy living doesn’t mean always feeling fantastic, but rather means being in touch with our mental, physical and spiritual self.
