We’re approaching a time of year during which many of us become concerned about holiday eating and are looking for ways to be mindful about the food and drink choices we make. In this solo episode I address some of the most common concerns I hear from clients and patients. 


It’s easy to turn to food when we’re celebrating a special occasion, just as it is to do when we’re under stress and are struggling through some difficult moments, so I want to encourage you to not feel guilty about what you eat over the holidays, but rather keep the following tips in mind:

  • Plan and prioritize what you’ll enjoy eating so that you don’t feel overwhelmed with the choices you’re presented with.
  • Remember that a holiday meal is still just a meal, so eat and enjoy, but listen to your body while doing so.
  • If you end up overindulging in food and beverages, don’t dwell on it.
